Department of Transport Administration Activities

Department responsible for:

Through its activities, the department ensures the performance of delegated state administration of a municipality with extended powers in the field of transport administrative activities related to the motor vehicle register, offences and administrative offences in road traffic, and the driver register, including the registration of driving schools and the acquisition of professional competence to drive motor vehicles.

The administrative district of Ostrava as a municipality with extended powers is defined by the municipalities of Čavisov, Dolní Lhota, Horní Lhota, Klimkovice, Olbramice, Ostrava, Stará Ves nad Ondřejnicí, Šenov, Václavovice, Velká Polom, Vratimov, Vřesina, and Zbyslavice.

Office hours

Applicants for disability parking permits (ZTP) and applicants for expedited driving licence issuance may attend without an appointment during the entire office hours.

The number of appointments is limited by the capacity of the individual waiting rooms of the department.
