Department responsible for:
It ensures the implementation of the employer’s remuneration policy in accordance with generally binding legal regulations and the employer’s internal rules. It manages the payroll agenda of employees of the City of Ostrava (with the exception of employees assigned to the Ostrava Municipal Police and to the offices of the city districts Moravská Ostrava and Přívoz, Ostrava-Jih, Poruba, and Slezská Ostrava), including the deduction of personal income tax on employment income and emoluments, as well as health insurance and social security contributions. It performs similar tasks in relation to members of the City Council and the councils of city districts. It also ensures the fulfilment of tasks in selected areas of employee care.
