Festival wristband holders can enjoy a wide range of exclusive benefits at many of the city's most popular attractions. Throughout the festival, both local residents and visitors from across the Czech Republic and abroad can take advantage of discounted admission, special offers and unique experiences across Ostrava.

Festival visitors can also benefit from the Colours Plus programme, which offers discounted admission, special deals and accompanying events at selected attractions, galleries, restaurants and other venues throughout the city.
Another great way to make the most of a stay in Ostrava is the OstravaCard. Available to guests staying for at least two nights at participating accommodation providers, the visitor card offers discounts and benefits at a wide range of attractions, experiences and selected services across the city. The card can be obtained directly from participating accommodation providers.
While the festival itself remains the main attraction, the Dolní Vítkovice complex is one of Ostrava's most iconic landmarks in its own right. The former ironworks and steelworks create a spectacular industrial backdrop that gives Colours of Ostrava its unmistakable character. Visitors can combine their festival experience with a visit to Bolt Tower, Gong Gallery, or other attractions within this extraordinary heritage site.
"From a destination management perspective, we want visitors to experience more than just four days at the festival. In the morning, they can hike to the Ema slag heap with a guide, spend the afternoon enjoying a coffee in the city centre or exploring Ostrava's architecture with the Ostrava Architectural Guide, before returning to the festival for an evening concert. This unique combination of industrial heritage, culture, gastronomy and fascinating local stories is something visitors will find nowhere else," says Jiří Šimon, Director of Ostrava's Destination Management and Tourist Information Centres.
To encourage visitors to explore the city, Ostrava's destination management organisation has prepared a programme of guided tours at special festival prices. From 16 to 19 July, visitors can join tours of Vítkovice, climb the Ema slag heap, discover the city's colourful past on the Ostrava of Vice walk, or follow the locations featured in the bestselling The Leaning Church novels. Festival wristband holders receive a 20 % discount on all guided tours.
Those who prefer to explore independently can use OVAM – the Ostrava Architectural Guide, a digital guide introducing the city's most significant buildings, their architects and the stories behind them. Suggested walking routes allow visitors to discover Ostrava's architectural diversity, from historic landmarks and Functionalist gems to contemporary urban regeneration.
