On the non-urgent green line you can 24 hours report troubles or damages on public beneficial devices, f.ex. damaged benches, ticket automats, timetables, street lights out of order or traffic signals on crossings, troubles with distribution or water nets, impassable pavements, untreated green. Citizens can report black dump, found dead animals and other things there, too.

A brand-new development and production centre has recently been opened on Ostrava's Výstavní Street by the Danish company Struers, previously based at the Science and Technology Park in Ostrava-Poruba. Representatives of mounted police from the entire Czech Republic, Poland and this year also from Italy, competed together on Saturday 27 August in the Orchards of Comenius area at XIV.Annual International meeting of mounted police driving in three competition disciplines - show jumping, jumping, mirror jumping and the main discipline, the police jumping.
