NEW EMERGENCY MEASURE IN CONNECTION WITH COVID-19

A new emergency measure (no. 15/2020) in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic now applies to the entire territory of the Moravian-Silesian Region. The new measure again makes it compulsory to wear mouth and nose coverings in all indoor spaces, in public transport, and in motor vehicles (including taxis and employee buses).

This new measure has been introduced due to the rising numbers of people diagnosed with COVID-19 in the Moravian-Silesian Region.

It is prohibited to visit patients in medical and social care facilities, unless the visitor uses a respirator of at least category FFP2 (without an exhalation valve) and at the same time keeps a distance of at least 2 metres from other people.

Events held both outdoors and indoors may be attended by a maximum of 100 people in a single sector with its own entrance/exit, and there must be a distance of at least 2 metres between people at the event (except members of the same household). Swimming pools (outdoor and indoor) may admit a maximum of 100 people at any one time, and there must be a distance of at least 2 metres between people.

Restaurants and catering facilities must be closed between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. Customers of restaurants and catering facilities must sit in order to enable them to keep a distance of at least 2 metres between people (except people sitting at the same table). A maximum of 4 people may sit at a single table (except members of the same household).
