Slaughterhouse complex
The City of Ostrava plans to establish a creative International Cultural Centre in the former City slaughterhouse. It therefore published a contract for an idea proposal to determine what activities could be suitable for these areas. It is intended as an open space for culture, education, creativity and cooperation among local actors and at international level. Emphasis will be put on the support of original artistic production and quality drama with a focus on younger audience. Similar cultural centres already exist in Prague, Plzeň or Košice.
